Join Grace Reamer, Friends of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery docent, on this walking tour of the FISH Hatchery and of prime salmonoid habitat along Issaquah Creek. We'll meet at the FISH flagpole and begin the day by learning about hatchery operations and the history of FISH. Then, we'll take the Squak Mountain Access Trail along Issaquah Creek to the upper intake, which was rebuilt in 2013 to improve fish passage into the upper watershed of Issaquah Creek. Along the way, you'll learn about what makes for prime salmonoid habitat and how you can be a good steward of our watershed.
