Come learn more about forest management on Tiger Mountain with Brian Williams, Department of Natural Resources Reforestation Forester. We’ll head up to the Tree Tip timber sale, stopping by several harvest units of various ages and compositions along the way. We’ll also see the associated stream buffers, which are comprised of the same second-growth forests that came back after the old growth was logged in the first half of the twentieth century (well before the DNR was created in 1957).
