Birth of the Greenway - 1990

In 1990, under the leadership of Jack Hornung and the IATC, a march from Snoqualmie Pass to the Sound was envisioned and executed. This event marked the birth of the Mountains-to-Sound Greenway as a concept, which then blossomed into the organization now known as the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust.

Photographer Larry Hanson covered the march, and compiled this photo essay of the historic event.
