Red Town to Meadow Restoration Project

  • Red Town Trailhead (map)

Join IATC member Ilima Knapp on a walk to the Meadow Restoration Project! At this time of year, wildflowers are commonly in bloom. We will spend a little time meandering the short meadow loop trail, hopefully admiring wildflowers such as trillium, buttercup, and white fawn lily.

In the 1990s, Issaquah Alps Trails Club members and community volunteers restored the meadow to native vegetation. On this walk, we’ll recreate and enjoy the natural area we’ve worked hard to protect throughout the decades.

This is a 1.6-mile loop hike on mostly level terrain.
