Teddy Bear Hike - Geology of Tradition and Round Lakes on Tiger Mountain

Can’t make a midweek hike but want to spend time with the little ones? Come join geologist Annika Wallendahl for a family-friendly walking tour to learn about the geologic history of Tiger Mountain’s Tradition and Round Lakes. By the end of the walk, you’ll be able to identify local volcanic rocks and glacial soils, and gain a deeper understanding of how the beautiful landscape was formed.

Annika is a licensed geologist and earned her masters of science degree in geology from Åbo Akademy University in Finland.  She works in the Seattle office of Geosyntec Consultants
